In August 2009 I got married for the second time to Richard who had been my best friend when we were at Impington Village College in the seventies. We had asked our guests to dress for a summer’s day and the sun shone for us all. Whenever I open my wardrobe and see these shoes I just break into a massive smile. I had such a lovely day surrounded by family and friends and I married the man that I had always held in my heart all those years. The sight of these particular shoes makes my heart sing for all the lovely memories of that special day.
