After a series of unsuccessful jobs, I applied to be an event organiser. With no experience in the area, I didn’t think I had a chance of getting the job. But with a lot of hard work and more than a bit of blagging I got it , and I have been working as an event organiser now for 8 years. I told myself that if I got the job then I would reward myself with these shoes. It was obviously the incentive that I needed.
