In 1999 we took part in a trek to the Himalayas with a small group of 16 people who we had never met before all from different backgrounds and ages. The aim of the trek was to raise money for a local charity, Disability Care Enterprise. These boots hold special memories for me and whenever I put them on I remember the great people we trekked with, the amazing scenery of the Himalayas and the wonderful Nepalese people who welcomed us along the journey. Most importantly is the money we raised for a worthwhile charity.

…and buying these boots encouraged us to raise the money while at the same time train for a rigorous trek. Already best friends these challenges made us even closer.
