I bought these shoes to go with the outfit I wore to go to Buckingham Palace to collect my OBE from the Queen in 2010. My award was for my work in the Eastern Region to reduce domestic and sexual violence. Sadly, I do not think we will ever stop these terrible acts, but it does not mean it is not worth trying. 1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse in their life time. I would like that to be zero.
