I started a project at work that involved a lot of hours and commitment – individually and as a company. I gave myself a target that when it was completed I would treat myself to some Fendi shoes – a brand I couldn’t afford. Four months later when the project had finished I bought the shoes. I’m wearing then to my 30th birthday party in two weeks time. I read once “walk a mile in someone else’s shoes before you moan about your own.” I cannot wait to wear mine and certainly won’t complain – my Fendi shoes means I achieved something rewarding.
