I initially purchased these shoes to make up for what I lack in height, and boy, do they make me look tall. They have literally carried me through some of my most memorable moments: my first Cambridge May Ball and the opening of my first exhibition. And then there’s the sense of pride in saying I can last about nine hours in them before I lose all feeling in my feet.
