These are shoes which I bought from a street seller at a market in a town called Koforduia in Ghana whilst travellling there. They remind me of the amazing trip and help put things in perspective. The people in the village where I stayed were very poor and few of them would have had many shoes to wear but the people I met and particularly the children had smiles on their faces and were happy if someone would play with them. It makes you realise how easy it is to take things for granted.
