Professor David Neal
Professor of Surgical Oncology
Operating Theatre 2, Addenbrooke’s Hospital
David Neal has been at the Department of Oncology since 2002. His time is divided between clinical work, research and teaching, roughly 50%, 40% and 10% respectively. His clinical and research goal is to discover better ways of diagnosing and managing the treatment of prostate cancer, which affects approximately 30,000 men in the United Kingdom each year, resulting in about 11,000 deaths.
