I bought then when I started a new job, I had very little money and the shop I got them in was new and gave scratch cards and I got money off so could just afford them. When they started to get old and scruffy, I tried to chuck them out a couple of times and relised I couldn’t. They were so comfy and I realised that I loved them. So I am still wearing them.
Sometimes what is old and worn is very desirable.
