In September 2010 I got married to my new husband David. Being a mixed-race relationship we had a traditional English wedding followed by a traditional Indian (Sikh) wedding 2 weeks later. The colours and style of each are very different – classic ivory and vibrant red – these reflect not only the different traditions of each wedding, but also our personalities.
